Laura Lamm

Laura Lamm is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of English at Methodist University, affiliated with the Composition & Rhetoric Communication, Composition & Rhetoric Division under the College of Arts, Humanities & Sciences. A first-generation university graduate and North Carolinian, she transitioned to academia after a 30-year career in public school education, theatre direction, and forensic coaching.

She received the Methodist University Exemplary Teacher Award (2019) and recently expanded her expertise to include teaching English as a Second Language. Outside academia, she enjoys traveling, beachcombing, and ferry rides.
