Dr. Laura Jobson is an Associate Professor in the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University, leading the Culture, Trauma and Mental Health Research Group at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health. Her research focuses on PTSD, depression, and cultural influences on mental health interventions, particularly in non-Western contexts. She has over 100 publications and secured grants from NHMRC, Elrha, and Wellcome Trust. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from ANU and has held roles at the University of East Anglia and the University of Cambridge.
