Laura J. Kruskall

Laura J. Kruskall is an Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, affiliated with the Nutrition Sciences department since 1999. She teaches courses in human nutrition, sports nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and nutrition seminars.

Her research focuses on vitamin D and bone health in athletes, as well as the impact of community nutrition programs. She founded the UNLV Nutrition Center to promote wellness and chronic disease prevention through nutrition.

She has held leadership roles in professional organizations, including past president of the Nevada Dietetic Association and co-chairing national standards committees for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
