Laura Dodds is a Lecturer in Social Work within the School of Law and Society at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), Queensland, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Human Services) from QUT (2003) and a Master of Social Work (2011), also from QUT. Her career spans statutory child protection roles, management in rural/remote areas—including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community work in Far North Queensland—and expertise as a Single Expert Child Witness in Family Law Courts.
