Laura Dabbish is a Professor at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) and Heinz College of Public Policy, Information Systems, and Management at Carnegie Mellon University. She directs the Connected Experience Lab, focusing on social technology and new forms of work.
- Research Areas: Social Computing, Usable Privacy and Security, Cognitive Science, Behavioral Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer-Supported Cooperative Work.
- Collaboration: Works with researchers in social psychology, organizational behavior, cyber-security, and software development to study socio-technical phenomena.
Teaching & Advising: Mentors PhD and Master’s students including Isadora Krsek and Kimi Wenzel.
