Laura Brandt

Laura Brandt is a Voice Instructor based in Calgary, known for her operatic roles and vocal performances. Her career includes mainstage performances with Calgary Opera, such as Frasquita in Carmen and Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, as well as musical theatre credits like Lily in The Secret Garden. She has collaborated with ensembles including the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Luminous Voices, and the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, performing works like Carmina Burana and Mahler 2.

• Education: B.Mus from Mount Allison University; M.Mus in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory.

Her performance highlights include European river cruise soloist engagements, the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show, and roles in Pierrot Lunaire and The Turn of the Screw. She currently teaches voice and piano in Calgary and actively promotes classical music through community outreach and educational initiatives.
