Laura Brand

Laura Brand serves as an Adjunct Professor of Ceramics in the Department of Art at Biola University and Long Beach City College, leveraging her expertise across traditional and contemporary artistic disciplines.

Her academic foundation includes:

• M.F.A. from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago
• B.S. in Studio Art from Biola University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2002

Brand's creative practice dynamically integrates ceramics, sculpture, drawing, photography, sound, performance, and video. Her work reflects a commitment to interdisciplinary exploration, informed by seven years of professional experience as a video editor and contributor to Long Beach City's Video Forensics cases.

She holds the academic distinction Magna Cum Laude for her undergraduate achievements at Biola University.
