Laura Bond, PhD, MA, is a Research Fellow at the Mental Health for All Lab within Harvard Medical School. Her work focuses on implementation science and mental health programming in underserved communities, emphasizing quality measurement, training non-specialist providers, and integrating mental health services into existing community platforms.
She holds a PhD from Boston College School of Social Work and an MA from American University's School of International Service. Prior to her PhD, she managed education and emergency response programs for Catholic Relief Services in Lesotho, Afghanistan, India, and Nigeria. Her fieldwork includes projects in Sierra Leone and Rwanda through Boston College's Research Program for Children and Adversity, alongside consulting for Sesame Workshop.
Her expertise bridges academic research with practical global health delivery, particularly in conflict-affected and resource-limited settings. Current initiatives prioritize scalable mental health interventions aligned with community service infrastructure.
