Laura Black is an Adjunct Professor of Violin at Friends University. She is actively involved in orchestral performance, serving as Assistant Concertmaster of the Salina Symphony, a member of the Wichita Symphony and Wichita Music Theatre Orchestra, and former Concertmaster of the Wichita Grand Opera Orchestra. She maintains a large private violin studio and has taught at institutions including Fort Hays State University, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and High Plains Music Camp. Additionally, she directs the ICT Young Artists Academy and serves as Artistic Director and Strings Coordinator of Camp Allegro Wichita.
