Laura Barrett

Laura Barrett serves as Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of the Business Communication Center at the University of Kansas School of Business, located in Capitol Federal Hall, Room 1030S, Lawrence, Kansas.

Her professional expertise focuses on business communication instruction and professional writing development, with emphasis on equipping business students with essential communication competencies for academic and career success across undergraduate and graduate business programs.

As Director of the Business Communication Center, she oversees comprehensive communication support services including writing coaching, presentation skills training, and professional document development for students in all business disciplines.
