Laura Anderson

Dr. Laura Anderson is a Lecturer at the School of Information, San José State University, where she contributes to teaching and research in information science. She earned her PhD in Information Ecology (2016) from Queensland University of Technology through SJSU's Gateway PhD Program and an MLS in Information Studies (1980) from Syracuse University. Her academic career includes a PhD thesis on information sharing in distance collaboration, highlighting her focus on collaborative technologies.

Research Interests: Dr. Anderson's work centers on information sharing, collaboration systems, and information ecology, with a particular emphasis on integrating software engineering principles into academic information systems.
