Laura A. Vallow, M.D. serves as Professor of Radiation Oncology and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic Florida, with appointments through Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. She leads the Radiation Oncology Breast Cancer Working Group and holds significant leadership roles including President of the Florida Radiologic Society.
Her research focuses on advancing breast cancer treatment through innovative radiation therapy techniques and MRI detection technologies. Dr. Vallow's clinical interests span breast cancer, lymphoma, central nervous system tumors, and gynecologic cancers, with particular emphasis on minimizing treatment side effects and improving patient-reported outcomes.
