Lasse Winther is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo’s Department of Private Law within the Faculty of Law. His research focuses on constitutional law (Norwegian, EU, and EEA), procedural law, substantive EU law (including free movement, competition, and public procurement), human rights (ECHR and EU Charter), and criminal justice principles like mutual recognition. He holds an LL.M. in European Law from King’s College London and a Master of Laws from the University of Bergen.
Professional experience includes roles as a Junior Professional at the ESA Legal Directorate and a caseworker with UiB’s legal communication office. He contributed to Norway’s Social Security Coordination NOU report (2021). Current affiliations include the European Dimension of Norwegian Law (EURNOR) project and the Law and Technology (JOT) research group.
