University of CopenhagenAbout
Lars Troels Møller is a PhD Fellow at the Department of English, Germanic and Romance Studies, Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on the intersection of gender politics and literary innovation in the works of Spanish poet Lucía Sánchez Saornil (1895–1970), a feminist pioneer and anarchist organizer. Affiliated with the research networks ILAS (Iberian and Latin American Studies) and the Engerom Environmental Humanities Group, Møller explores how Sánchez Saornil navigated avant-garde aesthetics and political commitment during Spain's tumultuous 20th century.
- PhD Fellow, University of Copenhagen (2023–)
- Minor subject in History, University of Copenhagen (2022)

His work bridges literary analysis, gender theory, and historical context, examining Sánchez Saornil's use of pseudonyms, modernist/avant-garde techniques, and post-Civil War religious themes. The project employs feminism and queer theory to analyze her poetry's evolution.
Møller's broader interests include Spanish worker’s movement history, translation studies, and literary historiography. He has contributed translations of Spanish anarchist texts to Danish, including works by Dolors Marin and Errico Malatesta.
