Lars Peter Hansen

Lars Peter Hansen is the David Rockefeller Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, affiliated with the Department of Economics, Department of Statistics, and Booth School of Business. He directs the Macro Finance Research (MFR) Program under the Becker Friedman Institute and co-leads the Macro Financial Modeling Project (MFM) with MIT's Andrew Lo. His research bridges macroeconomics, finance, and statistics, focusing on uncertainty quantification in economic models.
