Lars Fhager is an Associate Senior Lecturer at Lund University's Department of Electrical and Information Technology, affiliated with LTH's Profile Areas in AI and Digitalization, Nanoscience and Semiconductor Technology, and Light and Materials. He serves as a Principal Investigator at NanoLund: Centre for Nanoscience.
Education: MSc in Engineering Nanoscience (2010), PhD in Electrical Engineering (2015), both from Lund University.
Research Interests: Millimeter-wave/sub-terahertz circuit design, III-V transistor technologies, pulse-based communication systems, high-speed device modeling, radar imaging, and integrated transceiver circuits. Current work focuses on wideband design techniques and energy-efficient nanoelectronics.
Projects: Led the SEQUENCE project (2020–2023) on cryogenic 3D nanoelectronics and contributed to the INSIGHT project (2015–2019) on III-V nanowire semiconductor integration.
Labs/Teams: Active in NanoLund and the Advanced Chip Technology (ACT) initiative.
