Lars Christian Jenssen

Lars Christian Jenssen is a Professor of Archival Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where he works in the Department of Archives, Documentation and Collections Management within the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences. He has been employed at NTNU since 2015, serving as Program Director for the Master in Archives and Documentation Management (MAD). Prior to his position at NTNU, he worked as a researcher at the Institute for Defense Studies in Oslo and completed his PhD at the University of Bergen.

Professor Jenssen's research focuses on archival science, records management, and documentation management, with a particular interest in the role of archives in knowledge formation, archival education, and the evolving relationship between historical research and archival practice.
