Larry M. Diamond

Larry M. Diamond serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Physician Assistant Studies program within the Health Sciences school at Lawrence Technological University, while also holding a part-time pharmacology instructor position at the University of Detroit Mercy College of Healthcare Professions.

His academic credentials include a B.S. in Zoology from Michigan State University (1974), a B.S. in Pharmacy from Wayne State University (1980), and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Idaho State University (2002).

Dr. Diamond's clinical expertise spans cardiology, internal medicine, surgical, and orthopedic pharmacy practice, with significant involvement in 7 international multi-center randomized controlled trials covering heart failure, anticoagulation, and lipid management. His research integrates evidence-based medication protocols with aviation medicine, demonstrated through bi-monthly articles for the Airline Pilots Association on pilot medication safety.

As an educator, he has instructed across multiple healthcare disciplines at Wayne State University's Pharmacy, Medical, PT, and PA programs, and served as preceptor for University of Michigan and University of Florida pharmacy students and residents at Beaumont-Dearborn and AdventHealth-Orlando facilities.
