Larry Jacobs is a Professor at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and the Department of Political Science at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He holds the Walter F. and Joan Mondale Chair for Political Studies and directs the Center for the Study of Politics and Government, a leading institution for political and policy analysis in the Midwest.
His research focuses on elections, legislative and presidential politics, public opinion, and health care policy. He has authored nearly 100 articles and 14 books, including a forthcoming work on American presidents and a project on the Federal Reserve.
