Larry D. Watson

Dr. Larry D. Watson is a Professor of History at South Carolina State University, where he has been a faculty member since 2006. His work focuses on African American Studies, Early American History, and the Civil Rights Movement. He previously served as President of the Faculty Senate and held leadership roles in multiple academic organizations.

His research spans the Civil War and Reconstruction era, African American history, and South Carolina's political and social development.
