Lara Pecis

Lara Pecis is a Lecturer in Management, Employment, and Organisation at Cardiff Business School, with a focus on gender and racial inequalities in innovation-intensive organizations and SMEs. She explores historical organization studies in family businesses and the darker sides of technologies within entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Her research appears in journals like Business History, Human Relations, and Gender, Work and Organization, with recent works examining blockchain trust ideologies, academic motherhood in neoliberal institutions, and rhetorical history in family business continuity. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
