Lara Morciano is an Italian composer born in 1968, currently affiliated with the University of Paris Sciences et Lettres through her doctoral work in the SACRe program. She teaches composition and mixed music at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence and ENSTA - Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

Key honors include the Giga-Hertz Prize (2012), ICMA Audience Award (2019), and NAVISTA Prize (2022). Her compositional output spans chamber works, electronic music, and interdisciplinary collaborations with institutions like Tempo Reale and Centre Pompidou.
