Dr. Lara Demori is a Scientific Assistant and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institut für Kunstgeschichte, specializing in transnational art practices between Italy and Latin America from the 1960s to 1980s. She earned her PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 2017 with a thesis on Piero Manzoni and Hélio Oiticica, now being adapted into a book (Routledge, 2023). Her work spans post-war art, feminist movements, and the intersection of art with political and nuclear themes.
