Lara Aref

Lara Aref is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Education, University of Oslo. Her research focuses on policy decisions in higher education, particularly the Bologna Process, and their impact on student supervision, especially in master's thesis work. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Education (2019–2021) and a Bachelor in Education (2016–2019), both from UiO.

Her academic interests include higher education policies, student-centered learning methodologies, and qualitative research approaches. She currently serves as an editorial secretary for the journal Speki. Nordic Philosophy and Education Review.
