Landon Scriber

Dr. Landon Scriber serves as Director of Choral Activities at McNeese State University's Department of Performing Arts, conducting the Chamber Singers and University Chorale. He holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

His research focuses on Choral Conducting, Vocal Performance, and Classical Music interpretation, evidenced by professional engagements with ensembles like the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati and Coro Vocati. Performance highlights include solo roles in Kodály's Mátrá Pictures, Bach's St. Matthew Passion, and Mozart's Requiem.

Dr. Scriber maintains active professional affiliations as a singer with the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati under Dr. Joe Miller.

Prior to McNeese, he served as Director of Choral Activities at Alexandria Senior High School and Music Director at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Alexandria, LA.

His academic journey includes a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance from Mississippi College, Master's in Choral Conducting from Louisiana State University, and Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati.
