Lance Jenott is a Senior Lecturer in Classics and Religious Studies at Washington University, serving as Director of Religious Studies. He holds a PhD from Princeton University. His research focuses on Ancient Christianity, Second Temple Judaism, Biblical Studies, and Classical civilizations, with expertise in Greek and Coptic languages. He co-authored The Monastic Origins of the Nag Hammadi Codices (2015) and authored a Hermeneia Series commentary on the Gospel of Judas (forthcoming).
