Lana Cook

Lana Cook is a registered nurse and PhD candidate affiliated with the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen's University Belfast. Her research focuses on psychosocial aspects of pancreatic cancer, grounded theory methodologies, and interdisciplinary healthcare education. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing and has extensive experience as a research assistant in dementia care, delirium management, and palliative care.

Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being (SDG 3). Notable achievements include developing digital educational resources for delirium management and earning the Delegate’s Choice Best Poster Award (2025) for her pancreatic cancer research.

Lana’s activities include organizing conferences, presenting at national/international events, and collaborating on projects like the Belfast Delirium E-Resource. She actively participates in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery in aging populations and critical care settings.
