Lalit Vachani

Lalit Vachani is a documentary filmmaker, producer, and editor based at the Centre for Modern Indian Studies (CeMIS) at the University of Göttingen, Germany. He divides his time between India and Germany, where he teaches courses on political documentary, documentary theory, and production. His career spans filmmaking and academic roles, including visiting scholar and research fellow positions at institutions like New York University, Max Planck Institute for Religious Diversity, and Lichtenberg-Kolleg in Göttingen.
