Lado Chanturia is a Professor of Private and Comparative Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University since 1995. He currently serves as a Judge at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) since 2018 and was elected President of the IV Section at ECHR in 2024. His career spans high-level judicial, diplomatic, and academic roles.
