LaReeca Rucker

LaReeca Rucker serves as Adjunct Instructional Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi's School of Journalism and New Media. With over 20 years of journalism experience including roles at The Clarion-Ledger (USA Today Network), she brings practical industry expertise to her teaching.

Her pedagogical research examines innovative approaches including:

• Gamification of classroom instruction
• Pop culture integration in media education
• Social media impact analysis
• Civil rights history documentation
• Digital storytelling techniques

As a 2017 National Challenge Fund for Innovation in Journalism Education winner, she develops experiential learning frameworks that bridge academic instruction with professional journalism practices.
