LaDawn Haglund is an Associate Professor of Climate Justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. Her research focuses on human rights, environmental justice, political economy, and transformative social processes. She has conducted fieldwork in Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador, India, and South Africa, supported by grants from the National Science Foundation and Fulbright programs.
