Laëtitia Delbart serves as a Lecturer at the Université de Mons (UMONS) within the Teacher Training School and the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. She is specifically affiliated with the Teaching and Training Sciences Department where she contributes to the preparation of future educators.
Dr. Delbart holds a bachelor's degree in translation and interpretation (2007), a master's degree in modern languages and literature (2011), and a master's degree in educational sciences (2019). Prior to joining UMONS in 2019, she worked for eight years in compulsory education, primarily in upper secondary education as a language teacher.
Her research interests focus on teacher training methodologies, particularly classroom behavior management strategies. Since 2021, she has been conducting doctoral research on this subject while continuing her teaching responsibilities. Dr. Delbart plays a key role in the agrégation de l'enseignement secondaire supérieur (AESS) teacher certification program and supervises Master's level educational science students.
Dr. Delbart's work bridges theoretical educational science with practical classroom application, drawing from her extensive experience as a secondary school language teacher before transitioning to teacher education.
