LYNNE TALLEY

Dr. Lynne Talley is a Professor of Physical Oceanography and Climate Sciences at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego. She holds leadership roles in the Climate-Ocean-Atmosphere-Program (COAP) and the Climate, Atmospheric Science and Physical Oceanography research division (CASPO). Her research focuses on ocean circulation patterns, climate change impacts on oceans, and hydrographic dynamics. Key interests include Southern Ocean studies, ocean-atmosphere interactions, and the role of buoyancy forcing in climate systems.
