LUIS IGNACIO RODRIGUEZ GIL

Luis Ignacio Rodriguez Gil is a Professor in the Department of Financial Economy and Accounting at the Faculty of Administration and Business Management, University of Santiago de Compostela. His research focuses on financial economics, particularly the analysis of credit derivatives' impact on banking systems. He holds a PhD from the same institution, awarded in 2012 with a thesis titled Analysis of the impact of credit derivatives in the banking system, supervised by Dra. Sara Cantorna Agra and Dr. Luis Otero Gonzalez.

He is affiliated with the VALFINAP research group (Applied Financial Valuation) and previously contributed to the ECADE group (Economics, Accounting, Business Administration and Management). His work addresses critical issues in financial markets and banking sector dynamics.
