LLEDO RUIZ DOMINGO

LLEDO RUIZ DOMINGO is a Contracted Researcher affiliated with the Universitat de València and a member of the research group CiSEM (Cultures and Societies of the Middle Ages). Her work focuses on medieval history, particularly the sociopolitical and ceremonial roles of queens consort in the Crown of Aragon during the 14th and 15th centuries.

Research Interests: Her expertise lies in Medieval History, with specific focus on monarchy, gender roles, and ceremonial politics in the late medieval Iberian Peninsula. She investigates how royal consorts exercised influence through economic, political, and symbolic domains within the Crown of Aragon.

Her doctoral research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Antoni Furió, further anchoring her in a strong academic tradition in Spanish medieval studies. She contributes to the ongoing scholarly work of the CiSEM research group, which specializes in the cultural and social frameworks of medieval societies.
