Kyung-Mee Choi

Kyung-Mee Choi is an Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of St. Francis since 2010. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago (2010), MSW from Loyola University Chicago (2005), M.A. in Social Welfare from Daegu University (2000), and B.A. in Social Work from Silla University (1993). Her research focuses on immigrant family mental health, aging, cross-cultural social work interventions, and culturally competent practices.

Her funded grants explore Korean immigrant fathers’ parenting perceptions (2013) and cross-cultural attitudes toward aging and death (2018). She is affiliated with organizations like the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and Korean American Social Work Educators Association (KASWEA).
