Professor You Kyung Huh is an Assistant Professor of Law at St. Thomas University’s Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, joining in 2024. Her research focuses on financial regulation, consumer protection, AI-driven financial supervision, and international law. She previously served as a Hauser Global Post-Doctoral Fellow at NYU School of Law, where she studied comparative financial regulatory frameworks. With over 15 years of legal practice in South Korea, she held roles at the Korea Copyright Commission and Korean Financial Supervisory Service, contributing to regulatory policy. Currently, she directs Digital and Financial Regulatory Policy at Consumers Korea and serves on Consumers International’s Council, advising on global consumer advocacy strategies.
Educated at Ewha Womans University (B.A.), Seoul National University (M.A.), Harvard Law School (LL.M.), Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M.), and the University of Virginia (S.J.D.), her scholarship bridges legal theory and practice.
