Kyle Imhoff

Kyle Imhoff serves as an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science within the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University. He concurrently holds the official position of Pennsylvania State Climatologist, responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and disseminating the Commonwealth's climate data to governmental agencies, media, and the public.

His research centers on regional climatology with emphasis on Pennsylvania's weather patterns, extreme climate events, and long-term atmospheric trends. As State Climatologist, he bridges academic meteorological science with practical public service, focusing on climate resilience and environmental adaptation strategies for Pennsylvania communities.
