Kyle Herrman

Kyle Herrman is a Professor in the Fisheries and Water Resources department at the College of Natural Resources, University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, since 2010. He previously served as a Lecturer at the University of Nebraska's School of Natural Resources.

Research Interests: Focus on stream and wetland restoration, nutrient cycling, and invasive species management. His work examines denitrification processes, soil microbial communities, and ecological impacts of human interventions in aquatic systems.

Publication Trends: Research spans 2008-2012, emphasizing nitrogen dynamics in agricultural watersheds, invasive plant (Phragmites australis) effects on wetlands, and microbial community responses to restoration efforts. Methodologies include mesocosm experiments, sediment core analysis, and landscape-level hydrological assessments.
