Kurt C. Kleinschmidt is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He served as Division Chief for Medical Toxicology from 2004-2020 and as Toxicology Fellowship Program Director (2004-2018). He is Medical Director of Parkland Health's Perinatal Intervention Program (2016-present) and former Service Chief for the Integrated Family Planning Opioid Program (2020-2024 funded by Texas DHS).
