Kulvinder Panesar

Kulvinder Panesar is Assistant Professor of Applied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bradford, leading the BSc Applied AI program. Her research develops linguistically-centered NLP frameworks for conversational AI, with recent applications in dementia screening healthcare interventions.

She combines functional linguistics with statistical NLP to create hybrid approaches for human-AI interaction. Recognized as a 2019 WeAreTechWomen100 winner, she advocates for ethical AI development while teaching AI project design and machine learning methodologies.
