Dr. Ku In (Kyuin) Kim is a Lecturer in Korean Language at the University of Sheffield's School of East Asian Studies since 2018. She holds a Ph.D. in Korean Language Pedagogy from Ewha Womans University (2021), an MA from Ewha Womans University, and a BA from the University of California, San Diego. Her research focuses on intercultural competence development in Korean language education, cultural representations in textbooks, and pedagogical strategies for non-specialist learners.
Before joining Sheffield, Kim worked as a Korean lecturer at SungKyunkwan University (2014–2018) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
