Krzysztof Rzeźniczek, born in Mikołów, is a Doctor of Arts and Assistant Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He graduated from the institution with a major in the Painting Studio of Professor Kazimierz Cieślik and a minor in the Drawing Studio of Professor Antoni Cygan. Currently, he teaches in the Drawing Studio of Professor Antoni Kowalski and the Painting Technology Studio of Agnieszka Trzos.
His artistic practice spans painting, drawing, and photography. Over his career, he has held 11 solo exhibitions and participated in over 50 group exhibitions both in Poland and internationally. His notable achievements include a 1999 scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art, as well as awards in 2006 for his contributions to contemporary painting.
Research interests include contemporary visual arts, painting techniques, and interdisciplinary artistic expression. His work reflects a synthesis of traditional and modern approaches to visual storytelling.
