Krystal St. Peter

Dr. Krystal St. Peter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Criminal Justice at Minot State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Psychology from Florida Atlantic University (2021), following an M.A. (2019) and B.A. (2016) in Psychology.

Research Interests: Her work examines the effects of emotion on memory, particularly eyewitness memory for events. Additional areas include movement's influence on emotional responses to animals, cognitive processes of phobias, cultural differences in self-reported phobia symptoms, source credibility's impact on memory, memory for emotional trivia, and false memory formation.
