Krystal Mize is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). She teaches courses in developmental psychology, brain science research, and evolutionary developmental theory, emphasizing critical thinking and oral communication. She also explores infant jealousy, technoference, and intimate partner homicide, often collaborating with Dr. Todd Shackelford and Florida Atlantic University’s WAVES Lab. Her mentorship model trains over 20 undergraduates per semester in EEG technology and behavioral research methods.
