Krunoslav Teslak

Krunoslav Teslak is an associate professor at the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, based in the Department of Wood Technology. He holds a PhD and has been affiliated with the institution since 2004. His expertise spans adaptive forest management, private forest planning, and climate change impacts on forest ecosystems.

Research interests focus on multiple-criteria decision-making in forest management, habitat and social change dynamics, and long-term resource forecasting. He teaches courses including Legal Regulation in Forest Management and Small Scale Forest Management Planning, delivering lectures in Croatian and English.

His work emphasizes practical applications, such as decision-support systems for harvesting in beech-fir stands and analyzing private forest owner behavior. Key projects include studies on ice storm impacts in Gorski Kotar forests and historical management practices in Slavonia.
