Kriston Rennie

Kriston Rennie is Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Northern British Columbia. A historian specializing in medieval religion, he focuses on the Roman Church, medieval papacy, ecclesiastical representation, canon law production, and religious identity construction.

• Licence in Mediaeval Studies, Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies

His research examines medieval ecclesiastical structures and legal traditions across Europe. Recent publications analyze medieval canon law transmission, papal legates, and monastic exemption privileges.
