Dr. Kristine TAMAYO-VERLEENE is an Assistant Professor and Academic Director of the Human Resource Management Track at IÉSEG School of Management. She holds a Doctor of Business Economics from KU Leuven (2021) and a Master of International Business (MIB) from IÉSEG (2011), alongside a BA from the University of the Philippines (2005). Prior to academia, she worked in Human Resources at Toyota Motor Asia Pacific and Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (2005–2010), specializing in training and organizational development.
Her research focuses on Human Resource Management, including cross-cultural adaptation in education, AI-driven sustainability in business, and workplace equity. She teaches courses like Human Resource Management and Business Game across undergraduate and graduate programs at IÉSEG. Her recent publications address global student satisfaction, AI’s role in ecological products, and perceptions of pay gaps.
Dr. TAMAYO-VERLEENE’s expertise bridges HR strategy, organizational behavior, and international business challenges. She actively contributes to academic discourse through peer-reviewed journals and remains engaged in professional development initiatives.
