Kristina Senft

Dr Kristina Senft is a faculty member in the Institute of Slavic Studies at the University of Regensburg, where she lectures in Russian language, translation and cultural studies. Her office is located in Building PT, Room 3.3.27, and she holds weekly office hours during the lecture period.

Research & Teaching Focus

• Russian language acquisition from beginner to advanced levels (A1–C1)
• Russian-German and German-Russian translation methodology
• Intercultural communicative competence and regional studies
• Strategies for vocabulary expansion and writing training
• Poetry analysis and editorial practice in publishing

Across multiple semesters she has offered courses ranging from intensive block seminars to specialised translation workshops, demonstrating a sustained commitment to both foundational and advanced Russian pedagogy.
