Dr. Kristina Pirker is a Full-time Professor and researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciones Dr. José María Luis Mora in Mexico City, and a Lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She held a visiting Senior Research Fellow position at the University of Vienna's Department of International Politics (2022–2023). A member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (Level I), her work focuses on social movements, political violence, and anti-imperialism in Latin America.
